FAQ

Questions people usually ask.

Don't see yours? Ask it in the quote form. You'll get a reply within one business day.

How much does a print cost?

It depends on size, material and print time. Small parts usually land between $15 and $40. Custom modeling starts at $40 and is quoted separately from printing. You always get a fixed price before any work starts, and nothing is charged until you approve it.

I don't have a 3D file. Can you still help?

Yes, that's most projects. Send a sketch, a few photos with a ruler or coin for scale, or the broken part itself. Christian models it in CAD and sends you a preview to approve before printing.

What file types do you accept?

STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP are best. STEP is preferred for mechanical parts because it keeps exact dimensions. If you have something else, send it and we'll check.

How long does it take?

Most prints are ready in 3–5 business days after you approve the quote. Custom modeling adds 1–3 days. If you have a deadline, put it in your request. Rush jobs are often possible for a small fee.

How big can you print?

Up to 256 × 256 × 256 mm in one piece. Larger items like helmets or props are printed in sections and joined, so they can be finished to look like a single piece.

Which material should I pick?

PLA for decor and gifts, PETG for anything functional or outdoors, TPU for flexible parts, and resin for fine detail like miniatures. If you're unsure, describe what the part needs to survive and Christian will recommend one. See the materials guide.

Will I see layer lines?

On FDM prints, faintly, up close. Fine layers (0.08–0.12 mm) make them very subtle. For a smooth finish, choose sanding and priming, or go with resin.

Do you ship, or can I pick up?

Both. Local pickup is free, and US shipping is calculated at checkout. Orders are packed so they arrive in one piece.

Is my design kept private?

Yes. Your files are only used for your order and are never shared or sold. An NDA is available for business projects on request.

What if the part doesn't fit or breaks?

If it's our mistake, such as a wrong dimension or a print defect, we reprint it free. For replacement parts, we'll adjust the model and reprint at cost if the first fit needs tweaking.

Still deciding? Just ask.
